Passion has no boundaries in the great outdoors . . . From the concrete jungle to the wilds of Northern Ontario, Sierra Williams takes a management job at a remote wilderness resort. Forced to travel by boat with a guide who is both annoying and arousing, her fate is sealed when the boat springs a leak. They are forced ashore for a night under the stars waiting to be rescued, where nothing but the wind and the wildlife can hear her passionate cries. EXCERPT:
After working this last week, side-by-side with Gary, learning the ins and outs of wilderness resorts and campgrounds, Sierra had developed an easy camaraderie with the burly man. Watching Gary deal with customers in a casual, friendly manner was refreshing. She had yet to see an unhappy face. Oddly enough, she still didn’t know his job title. He seemed to be the resort’s jack of all trades, and from what she’d seen, a master of a lot more than one. She’d come to admire him, although there were times when his teasing words annoyed her. His strength could be compared to a bear, she’d decided, after witnessing Gary haul forty-five-gallon drums on his shoulders the first day she’d arrived. Thick, corded arm muscles shimmered under the sun from sweat. A broad chest tapered to a narrow waist. He sure had an incredible body, and his green eyes looked exquisite against sun-tanned skin and dark brown hair. He squatted down and rinsed the knife in the water. Sierra stared at the white wife-beater clinging to his broad shoulders and narrow waist. She licked her lips, imagining a hundred possible positions a man like him could handle with such raw power at his disposal. He could probably pound her standing up with nothing for support but his own powerful legs. She looked away, her cheeks flushed, before he noticed her ogling him. “That’s quite the knife you have there,” she said, just to fill the silence. Gary finished rinsing the knife and stood to face her, holding the blade at a dangerous angle between them. Sierra’s eyes widened and she stared at the sharp, shiny edge. He held the weapon so close her eyes nearly crossed looking at it. “One flick of my wrist and I could completely remove your bra. Nice, eh?” She swallowed. “I didn’t realize men thought about breasts while cleaning fish.” “Men think about tits during any moment of the day.” His gaze slipped down to her chest. “And I must say, you have a healthy set of lungs.” Purchase now: Amazon US | Amazon UK | B&N

With the uncertainty of what day of the week it is during this pandemic insanity, I absolutely have way too much time on my hands, and I’m using it to focus on my writing. I’ve never been a writer that has had a schedule, nor have I forced myself to write a certain word count per day. I've also always had regular day jobs. I write when I want and what I want, and I probably always will. With that said, why wouldn’t I use this time to drink wine and write about love and sex?
So…I do have good news for this upcoming year. I have sold 7 old stories that I’ve rewritten to Luminosity Publishing, whom I absolutely adore working with. These sexy mini books will release individually over the next few months in eBook form, and then a print collection shortly after. And that isn’t all… The western novella that I’ve been reworking is nearly done, and I’m also half way through a full novel! So stay tuned for more tales of love and lust. Until next time… Shady ;-) Avia's SecretHistorical Romance Follow her heart, or make her family proud . . . ? Avia Rockwell—heiress to Melina’s Vineyard—must find a suitable husband. No man will ever be good enough, and as Cade uncovers secrets that could rip her world apart, he will do anything—even give up his life—to save hers. From Northern California’s wine country to the earthquake that shattered San Francisco, two lovers battle each other and the evil forces bent on tearing them apart. READER ADVISORY: This book contains scenes of argumentative behavior between a stubborn hero and fiery heroine, hot sex, wicked adventure, and a little twist. Pre-order NowI think we all suspected the eventual downfall of Samhain Publishing, despite the initial shock last year when the publisher announced their upcoming closure...only to stay open. Since then I had a feeling they couldn't hang on much longer. Many authors became fed up with too many "we got this" or "we're figuring it out" and "we might have a buyer" announcements that were made. You can only have faith for so long, and in today's tumultuous world of publishers coming and going, trust runs out pretty quick. Back in late 2011 I was excited to be offered a contract for Dark Sun Rising by what was considered one of the big shots in publishing. I had a wonderful experience at Samhain under my old pen name, BL Bonita. My editor was awesome, I got a starred review from Publishers Weekly, and my royalties were always on time. So, looks like I'll have yet another old book to shop around once my rights are returned. Even though I'm disappointed by the outcome, I look forward to finding a new (hopefully permanent) home for this wonderful story. Until next time, folks...
